First Family Pictures

We finally had our family pictures made. I am not really sure why we waited this long, because they are wonderful. I guess the anxiety that comes with the thought of trying to keep 4 kids happy, long enough to smile for a camera, has been the problem. But nonetheless, we did it. I love them.

How Caden Eats A Zebra Cake

Interesting concept this 22 month old is displaying. I don't eat Zebra Cakes, but if I did...I don't think I would feel the need to peel it prior to consumption. He does though.

Slacker

Ok, so I am slacking already. Not because I want to though. It just happens. The weekend was crazy busy, and I was away from the kids a good portion of Saturday and Sunday. I was doing work stuff. I love my job as a Thirty-One consultant for so many reasons....but that's another post in itself. And during the week....well, the girls activities keep us busy. Tennis, Girl Scouts, and homework leave little time for anything else.

My next (biggest) challenge in keeping up with my "resolution" to post more frequently is the weather. The weather is just not conducive to taking pictures of my kids outdoors. And, since that's my favorite place to snap...it's just hard to get motivated. I am absolutely not a cold weather person. And we are absolutely not indoor people. Not a good combination. But we make it work. Barely.

So now I have shared my excuses with you...valid or not...I am going to update my blog with what I have up to this point.

Camera Hog

Today the girls went back to school, which allowed me and Caden some camera time. I must say, my son has turned into quite the camera hog. As soon as I get my camera out he starts in..."i wanna piture". He has also developed quite the cheese face.

Caden also thinks that he should turn his head when I turn the camera. This makes for some challenging shots!

This afternoon Kendall decided she wanted to put Caden down for his nap. She succeeded. Sweetest moment ever!

A New Year...A New Sport

Yesterday was Haleigh's first day of tennis. She absolutely LOVED it. Cody took her, and Kendall went to watch. Kendall said she wants to play tennis too. Wow. Must have even looked fun!

Perfect First Day!

Well, it's definitely been a while. Things have gotten extremely busy...for the better (mostly). But starting today, I hope to at least post one picture for everyday. I miss my blog and the memories it provides for me.

Today we spent the day at Bass Pro. It's fun for the whole family. We shopped a little, stopped and ate lunch at the restaurant inside the store, shopped some more and then got dessert at the little fudge store (also inside Bass Pro). Love days like that!
